Step 1: Accessing the SyncMyMail Control Panel


Here is your information to your control panel


cp Control panel Web address : http://cp.syncmymail.com/

Admin Username : name@your-domain.com

Admin Password : your-password

Step 2: Creating Outlook 2007 / 2010 Profile

If you are currently using Outlook, we strongly recommend that you create a .PST file so you will be able to import all your old Outlook data into your new Outlook profile.

If you don't, already have Outlook 2007 or 2010, you will need to download a FREE copy of Outlook 2007 or Outlook 2010.

This step show how to create you Outlook Profile automatically.

Automatic Setup Instructions

1. Open up your web browswer and go to http://cp.syncmymail.com

2. Login with your email address and password.

3. Click on Exchange from the top menu --> Outlook Configuration and scroll to the bottom of the page...

4. Make sure is checked and click to download Outlook Profile Setup



5. Click Run to install the autologin program. Keep Outlook Profile and Auto Logon Tool checked during setup. If prompted twice then click Run again.

6. Click Next --> Next --> Install --> Finish . When the Autologin Properties box opens fill in Password and Confirm Password. Choose Yes to any options. Do not open up Outlook before configuring your Autologon properties.



7. Open up Microsoft Outlook with the profile named with your First and Last name. You are now ready to begin using your new Email account. When you first run Microsoft Outlook you will be prompted for a password. Do not enter a password, Outlook will automatically login within 5 seconds.

 
 

Final Step: Getting your e-mail to SyncMyMail


Pointing the MX Records to SyncMyMail

If you’ve bought Exchange mailboxes for every user in your domain that uses e-mail then you can safely change your MX records to us. The records are:

Primary MX Server (Priority 10): edge1.exchangecarrier.net
Secondary MX Server (Priority 20): edge2.exchangecarrier.net
Third MX Server (Priority 30): edge3.exchangecarrier.net

Forwarding to SyncMyMail

If you have other users that will be using e-mail but you have NOT created them on our Exchange server, or you are using another third party spam filtering solution then you’ll need to forward your e-mails to SyncMyMail.
