How to setup your BlackBerry


NOTE: If you experience difficulty during this setup please read this.

1. Open up your web browswer and go to http://cp.syncmymail.com
2. Login with your admin account.
3. Under the User Management menu search for the user to enable BlackBerry and click Go.
4. Click Services below the user and expand hosted BlackBerry.
5. Check the Enabled box for BES2. Enter your BlackBerry PIN.
Follow these steps to find your BlackBerry PIN:
  • In the Home screen on your BlackBerry, scroll to and click Options.
  • Scroll to and click Status.
  • In the Status screen, scroll to the PIN.

6. Enter a password that will be used to activate the BlackBerry and click Provision.
7. On your BlackBerry go to BlackBerry Setup and then Setup Wizard.
8. Go to E-mail Setup.
9. Choose I want to use a work email account with a BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
10. Click Yes when asked if you have an Enterprise Activation password and hit Next.
11. Enter your primary e-mail address and Activation PIN from step 5. Click Activate and the BlackBerry should start to sync with your mailbox
